Meet Becky

Responsible • Dedicated • Hard Working

Becky is...

The daughter of hard-working,
middle-class parents who gave her a strong work ethic and taught her the importance of opportunity for all.

A dedicated citizen—a volunteer at her son’s school, Scouting, St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, and Habitat for Humanity—ready to take her community service to the next level and help create a better future for all Minnesota families.

An advocate for education - she knows that a good education is the foundation for success. Becky is currently working on a Master of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute.

A life-long Minnesotan. She will work hard to make sure our unique quality of life is sustainable and available for future generations.

A good listener. Becky will seek input and gather information
from many sources to make decisions based on evidence, not on emotion and rhetoric.

Not afraid of hard work. As a Big 10 athlete at the U of M, Becky used perseverance, commitment, and determination to be successful on the fi eld and in the classroom.
