Pre-registration is now closed, but you can still register on Election Day. Check your registration online, and learn about the same-day registration process.
Free rides to the polls are available in the Twin Cities metro; call 1-877-50-RIDES to reserve a ride. Space is first come, first serve, so call as soon as you know you'll need a ride!

Dear Neighbor,

I hear you
I’ve knocked on thousands of doors across the district. I know about your struggles with unemployment, the fear of losing the job you have, about being stressed because of constantly be asked to “do more with less” because your company is short staffed. You’re worried about the increasing cost of health care. Your property values have decreased and your property taxes have increased, and foreclosures are impacting families in your neighborhood. You’re concerned about your local schools because the state has cut funding which has resulted in increased fees, larger class sizes, fewer electives, and teacher layoffs. There is much to worry about, and a great deal of frustration.

We must work together
Now is not the time to turn our backs on each other and take an “each man and woman for themselves” approach. We are all connected in today’s economy as we’ve seen quite clearly in this current recession. We will all do better when we all do better. Just like when communities come together after a natural disaster to rebuild, it is imperative that we work together to get our economy moving and create jobs.

Our success depends on our ability to put division aside, to find and implement the best ideas, regardless of which side of the aisle they come from. We need leaders who will bring us together, not pit us against one another. Businesses expect no less from their employees every day. Government should be no different.

My promise to you
I will work across party lines to effect positive change, connect our community with the legislature, and use evidence-based decision making to develop fair and reasonable solutions.

I am running to put good ideas to work for Minnesota and I am working to earn your vote in November. Together we can make Minnesota a leader again.
